Rift has one of the most diverse character creation schemes ever in a MMORPG. Rift support 4 major classes with up to 8 souls per class. Some levels grants 1 skill point while others grant 2. For now, Rift supports up to 50 gaming levels with plans underway for another massive upgrade.The four classes are Mages, Clerics, Rogues, and Warriors. Each of the soul types have a particular area of strength - DPS characters specialize in dealing damage while healing characters restore life, tanking characters excel in defense and support characters provide buff or stat bonuses to improve performance.
There are a variety of tasks to do within Rift and other Rift game guides have specialized instruction on each task. Always work in a group setting for rift events because dealing with all the monsters require characters to work together. The game is a massively complex system that cannot be fitted into one Rift Game guide.

Nearby players converge to fight these demons and reap rewards of currency and helpful items, and the game easily groups them together into ad hoc raid groups. Rifts open seemingly anywhere--possibly even right above you. When a death rift erupts, the violent violet tentacles reaching down from the heavens look as if they might snatch you up and feed you to the rift's gaping maw.
Regions aren't limited to a single rift; often, many rifts will be open at a given time. There is comfort in questing, as most MMOG players understand, but a little oomph to the writing and a little time spent acclimating players could have elevated Rift even further.
